# Can I create OpenAI and AzureOpenAI connection in Sparkflows?

Yes, it is possible to establish connections to OpenAI and Azure OpenAI within Sparkflows, using what is known as a “Gen-AI” connection.

To do so, you should navigate to the “Administration” menu and access the “Connections” section. Within the configuration settings, ensure that the “[connection.gen.ai](http://connection.gen.ai/).enabled” option is enabled to enable the creation of Gen-AI connections. These connections can then be used to integrate and interact with OpenAI and Azure OpenAI services.
