# How do I connect Copilot to a GENAI connection?

**A:** Once enabled, you must create a Copilot instance and link it to a Generative AI connection:

1. Go to **Administration \> Copilot** and click **Add Copilot**.

2. Select a **Gen AI Connection** (e.g., OpenAI or Azure OpenAI) from the dropdown ( previously added genai connections list).

3. Provide a unique **Name** for the Copilot and click **Save**.
